I started Badri's Cameraworks in May 2026, based in Deutsch-Wagram, working with clients across Austria. I focus on personal branding photography for entrepreneurs and professionals, portrait sessions, couples photography, Events and Weddings
My approach is simple — no stiff, over-posed photos. I want the images to look like you, just the most confident, camera-ready version of you. Whether that's headshots for your LinkedIn, images for your company website, or a session to celebrate you and your partner, every shoot is planned around what you'll actually use the photos for.
I'm based in Deutsch-Wagram and shoot on location across the greater Vienna area — at your office, in the city, or wherever fits your brand best.

I do, it was a portrait shoot in Volksgarten, Vienna, in May, just after the blooming season had passed. The garden still had that soft, late-spring atmosphere, and I remember setting up with my model, trying to get the light just right through the trees. There was something special about that first shoot, it wasn't just about the photo itself, but the feeling of finally starting something I'd been dreaming about for a long time. Looking back, that image still reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

Photography has been a part of my life since childhood. My father was a photographer and he taught me everything I know about photography, and it was through his passion and guidance that I fell in love with the craft myself. Starting Badris Cameraworks isn't just my own dream, it's one my father had for himself as well, which makes every shoot feel personal and meaningful.

When the photo feels natural rather than posed, when the person's personality actually comes through, not just their appearance.

As soon as you have an idea in mind, whether it's a rough concept or just a date you're working toward. The earlier we talk, the better we can plan the shoot around your goals.

Good light, a genuine expression, and a clear focal point. Technical polish matters, but the moment has to feel real first.

Portrait and personal branding photography is about more than a nice picture, it's about presenting someone in a way that reflects who they actually are, whether that's for a personal keepsake or a professional profile.

Small things, how light falls across a face, the angle that's most flattering, the split-second where an expression looks natural instead of forced.

I have three formula, Practice, Practice and keep Practicing. The Mantra is simple, Practice makes a man perfect.

Confidence and authenticity, I want the people I photograph to look back at their pictures and feel like it's really them, just captured at their best.

Among the gear I own, my favorite is the Sony A7 IV paired with an 85mm lens. That combination gives me exactly the look I love for portraits, beautifully soft, compressed backgrounds that let the subject stand out, with sharp detail and natural skin tones. It's become my go-to setup whenever I want a shot that feels intimate and professional at the same time.

Technology is a tool, not the point, good gear helps, but it's the eye behind the camera that makes the photo.

I started by reaching out to friends and offering free portrait shoots to build my portfolio, like my first shoot at Volksgarten in Vienna. Alongside that, I set up my website and Instagram, created a Google Business Profile, and made sure I was visible locally so people looking for a photographer nearby could find me easily.

Very important - it's where a good photo becomes a great one. I use editing to enhance natural light, tones, and detail, but I always aim to keep the result looking authentic rather than overly processed. The goal is to bring out what was already there, not create something artificial.

Learn to see light before anything else, it changes everything about a photo. Practice consistently, even with simple subjects, and pay attention to composition and timing rather than just gear. And don't be afraid to shoot a lot and learn from what doesn't work.

Time and practice, above all else. My father always told me it's not the camera but the man behind it that creates the magic and that's stayed with me. Gear can help, but no equipment will teach you how to see light, read a moment, or connect with the person in front of your lens. That only comes with hours behind the camera.
